Mark a Patient as Do Not Send Statements

Q: How do I mark a patient as do not send statements?

1. Open the Scheduler Workspace

Go to the SOAPware menu, then click Schedule.

2. Open the Patient Account

  1. Click on the Billing menu, then select Patient Account.
  2. Search for and select the patient using the Chart Rack.

3. Open the Statements Tab

Click on the Statements tab within the patient account.

4. Indicate "Do Not Send Statements"

  1. If you do not want a patient to receive a statement when processing bulk statements, place a check mark in the box next to "Do Not Send Statements".
  2. Click Yes to confirm that you wish to do no wish to send statements to the selected patient.

*Note: If this patient is a guarantor and has dependents listed in the Family tab, go to each dependent's account and repeat steps 1-3 to hold those statements.
