Link a Provider to a Group

Q: How do I link a provider to a group?

The Practice Management setup process must be completed in a specific order.  Please follow the setup lessons for step-by-step instructions.

1.  Open Provider Manager

Click the Tools menu, then select Provider Manager.

Highlight the providers name in the left hand menu, then click the Misc tab.

3. Enter Provider's Billing Information (block 24J)

  1. Group: choose the provider's associated group from the drop-down menu.
  2. Superbill Task User: select the user that should be assigned a task item and notified each time the physician posts a superbill.
  3. Auto-Create Post Superbill Task: check this box to allow a task item to be automatically created and assigned each time the physician posts a superbill.  This will prevent the physician from needing to manually click the Add task button each time a superbill is posted.
