Delete a Co-Pay

Q: How do I delete a co-payment?

1. Open the Patient's Account

1. Open the Patient's Account

Click on the Billing menu, then select Patient Account.  Search for the account using the patient's last name, then click Select to open the account.

2. Open the Patient's Ledger

2. Open the Patient's Ledger

Click on the Ledger tab.

3. Delete Co-Pay

  1. Locate the co-payment line item and click the X button that is located next to the posted date.
  2. Click the Yes button to place the co-payment back into the unapplied co-pay box.
  3. Click the No button to completely remove the payment from the system.
  4. Click the Cancel button to cancel the process of deleting the co-payment.

*Note: Only users that have the appropriate security privileges will be allowed to delete a payment.
