Change the Medication Instructions (Dose, Frequency, Route)

Q: How do I change the medication instructions?

1. Insert the Medication

1. Type the name of the medication followed by the F11 key on your keyboard
2. Select the medication (this will enter the medication into your SOAPnote or Summary depending where you cursor is)

2. Change the Dose

1. In the SOAPnote, click on the dose of the medication
2. In SMARText Quick Access, use the key pad to insert the new dose

3. Change the Frequency

1. In the SOAPnote, click on the frequency of the medication
2. In SMARText Quick Access, select the appropriate frequency

4. Change Route

1. In the SOAPnote, click on the route of the medication
2. In SMARText Quick Access, select the appropriate route
