Electronically Post a Superbill

Q: How do I electronically post a superbill?

1. Open the Billing Statement

Click the Billing Statements tab and locate the billing statement that needs to be printed.

*Note: If the Billing Statements tab is not visible in the chart, open it using the Chart Navigator.

Click to highlight the billing statement to post, and click the Post Superbill button to electronically post the billing statement to SOAPware Practice Management or another integrated billing system.

3. Add Superbill Task Item

When a Billing Statement has been electronically posted, a new task item will be created.  This task item can be sent to the billing personnel to notify them of an available superbill.  

Edit the task item as desired, then click Create.

Click OK.

4. Charges are Posted in Patient Account

The new charges have now been posted to the patients account.
