Create a Patient Flag or Note
Q: How do I create a patient flag or note?
1. Open the Scheduler Workspace
Go to the SOAPware menu, then click Schedule.
2. Open the Patient Account
- Click on the Billing menu, then select Patient Account.
- Search for and select the patient using the Chart Rack.
3. Open the Flags/Notes Tab
Click on the Flags/Notes tab within the patient account.
4. Add Note
Click the Add Note button located in the bottom right hand corner of the window.
5. Select a Category
Select a category for the patient's flag/note using the drop down menu.
6. Enter Notes & Save
- Add any desired notes into the Note box.
- Click OK to save.
The new note/flag will be displayed within the patient account and patient chart.
Flag: will display with red highlighting and will alert the designated user upon opening of the chart/patient account.
Note: will display with no highlighting and will not alert any users upon opening of the chart/patient account.
