Template Controls

The Template library now contains thousands of Templates, containing tens of thousands of keywords to assist with searching-finding. When reviewing Templates, consider the following.

Templates with green triangles have been created by SOAPware, Inc. as appropriate for others to download. Templates with yellow triangles have been created or edited by a SOAPware user.

The shortcut of a Template can be used to quickly insert the Template into the current docutaner by pressing F5 and then entering the shortcut code.

By selecting the "Include Cloud Library Items" box at the bottom of the window, users will get results not only from their local database, but also from SOAPware and other SOAPware users.

In the screen shot above, the Location column header has been clicked. In this case, it sorted the list of Templates into Labs and SOAPnotes. Presently, over 95% of Templates are one of the following types, with over 90% being of the type SOAPnotes.

Template controls include functions to Search, Add, Remove, Print, Download, Upload, and Update a Template.

Selecting a Template on the user's local library opens the Template for editing. The window to the right provides a preview of any Template selected once the Template has been downloaded. In this window, the user can edit the Template and the changes will be auto-saved.

The button with the green plus allows users to create a Template from what has been created in a patient's chart.

To remove a Template from a user's local library, the user can use the Remove Template button.

When selecting a Template and then Clicking Insert, the selected Template will be inserted in the active chart section of an open patient's chart.
