Accessing Document Designs

To access document designs click the docked tab Available Document Designs, or go to Documents > Print. This will pull up the available document designs, where the user can choose which design to preview, print, fax, store, or send electronically.

To preview a document before printing, click to select the Document Design. Click the Preview button or press ALT + V on the keyboard.

Print a Document Design

To skip the preview and send the document to print, click to select the Document Design.  Click the Print button or press ALT + P on the keyboard.

Send a Design Electronically to myHEALTHware

Send a Design Electronically to myHEALTHware

A user must be set up with a myHEALTHware account, and connected to the patient or provider, that would be receiving the document(s).

Select the Document Design, then click the Send to myHEALTHware button, or press ALT + E on the keyboard.

A New myHEALTHware Conversation box opens.

After selecting the appropriate connection in the To field, and typing your conversation in the Message field, click Send.  Notice that a PDF format of the document(s) being sent, is already attached.

Fax a Document Design

A user must have the SOAPware Faxing Module or use a supported interfacing faxing module to fax a Document Design from SOAPware.

Click to highlight the Document Design. Click the Fax button or press ALT + F on the keyboard.

The Fax Contact window will display to select the Contact from Contacts Manager. Select the Contact of choice then click Fax.

Store a Document Design

To store a document design in a patient's chart you must first select a destination in Document Designer Properties.

After this has been set up for a particular design, click to select the design.  Then click the Store button or press ALT + S on the keyboard.

A window pops up showing where the document will be stored.  In the screenshot above the document will be stored in the Correspondence Out section.  Click Create.
