Remove Unused Items

SOAPware has a convenient command to clean up documentation called Remove Unused Items. This command removes any SMARText items that have not been used, and also removes extra spaces.

  1. Click Edit in the menu bar.
  2. Click the Remove Unused  menu item
  3. Click the Current Document menu item.

Remove Unused Items of the Current Document clears out the unused items in the active document. When the SOAP Note is active, this will only clear out unused SMARText Pick Lists in the SOAP Note that we have open. If the user was to choose All Documents instead, this would apply to all of the patient's encounters as well as the summary.
