Insert a Template

Q: How do I insert a template into a SOAPnote?

1. Open the Chart

Using the Chart Rack, open the patients chart.

2. Create a SOAP Note

3. Access the Templates Manager

  1. Click on Docutainers from the main menu.
  2. Select Templates.

4. Search for the Template

  1. Type a single keyword (ex: cough, diabetes, or dysuria) in the search box
  2. Click on the Search button

  1. Click to highlight the desired template.
  2. Click on the Insert button

Click Append to add the information from the template to the existing SOAP Note.
