1. Drug Formulary Checks

This lesson will demonstrate the steps necessary to meet the Meaningful Use requirement for Formulary Checks.

Version:

SOAPware 2011 or later must be used.

Note: To determine the version of SOAPware being used, Click on Help > About SOAPware. This will open a window which will show the version and build of SOAPware currently in use.

Requirement:

Implement drug-formulary checks.

Measurement will be attestation of using Rx Manager to generate scripts.

Measure Criteria

Objective: Implement drug formulary checks.

Measure: The EP has enabled this functionality and has access to at least one internal or external formulary for the entire EHR reporting period.

YES / NO ATTESTATION:

This measure is not tracked within the SOAPware Meaningful Use dashboards. This Meaningful Use measure requires that the eligible professional must attest YES to having enabled this functionality and having had access to at least one internal or external formulary for the entire EHR reporting period to meet this measure.
