Print a Clinical Summary

Q: How do I print a clinical summary?

1. Open the SOAPnote

Open an existing SOAPnote or create a new SOAPnote.

2. Document the Encounter

Complete the encounter.

3. Open the MU Patient Dashboard

3. Open the MU Patient Dashboard

Open the MU Patient Dashboard by going to View, then click on MU Patient Dashboard.

4. Print a Clinical Summary

In the MU Patient Dashboard, click on Clinical Summaries.

Select the desired printer and click Print.  The clinical summary must be given to the patient within 3 business days in order to meet the MU requirement for Stage 1.  The clinical summary must be provided to the patient within 1 business day to mee the MU requirement for Stage 2.
