Order Manager contains a History tab for keeping a record of all orders the clinic has ever placed for a patient.
Access Order History
With a patient chart open, open Order Manager (Documents > Order Entry > Order Manager), and click the History tab. To transfer ordered items to the History tab, please see: Results Pending.
View Order Details
Click to highlight the order and the order details will be displayed at the bottom of the window.
*Note: Orders cannot be edited from within the History tab.
View Related Results
To view the document associated with a particular order, click the link in the Related Results column and the chart will open to the appropriate document. For instructions on relating results to an order please see: Results Pending.
Remove from Order History
- An order can be removed from the History tab by clicking the Remove (X) icon to the far right of the order. *Note: The order can no longer be retrieved after being removed from History.
- The order will remain in the Plan field of the SOAP Note even though it is taken out of the Order Manager History.
Move Back to Results Pending
If you need to move an order from History back to the Results Pending section, select the order, then click the Move Back to Pending button.
