Creating an Addendum
The user can add an addendum to a SOAP note if information needs to be added after the SOAP note has been signed off.
Create a Rich-Text Addendum
To do this:
- Right click on the lower SOAP note tab (just above the lower splitter bar).
- A menu will appear and the user will choose New.
- Choose General.
- Choose Rich Text.
Addendum is attached to the SOAP note
The Addendum the user just created will appear and the user can type to add information, which will be attached to the SOAP note in the same Document.
*Note: The user will not be able to insert SMARText items in the addendum. The addendum is used for free-text only.
Rename the Addendum
The user can rename the addendum from Rich Text. Right click on the tab and choose Rename.
