A new feature has been added to SOAPware that allows you to download a fax and insert it directly into a patient chart!  

To download a fax from myHEALTHware and insert it directly into a patient chart, simply open myHEALTHware inside of your SOAPware system.  Next, click the Fax tab and highlight the fax that you wish to download.

  1. Download Fax: Clicking the Download Fax button will download the entire fax (all pages).
  2. Download Pages: If you wish to download only certain pages of your fax (ex: to exclude the cover page), click on the pages you wish to download, then click Download Pages.

If you do not have a patient chart open, you will be presented with a dialog asking you to select the file's destination.

  • Patient Chart: Select the Patient Chart button if you wish to add the fax directly to a patient chart.
  • My Computer: Choose My Computer if you wish to download and save the fax to a folder or location on your comptuer.
  • Cancel: Click Cancel to discontinue this action.

If you do not have a patient chart open, select the chart, then click Select.

Select the chart section where you want to save the fax, then click Select.

Add Document Task

A task item will be created for the fax that was added to the chart.  Edit the task information as desired, then click Add.

The fax will be imported into the patients chart, as shown in the above example.
