New Rx Manager Features
1. Ability to Indicate Three Preferred Pharmacies for a Patient
Demographics: Preferred Pharmacy
SOAPware has added a new feature that will allow users to select up to three (3) preferred pharmacies for a patient. This will allow the patient to indicate a preferred retail, mail order, or other pharmacy to be recorded on their chart.
Users can record this information in the patient's Demographics chart section, as shown in the screenshot above.

In addition, users can also set the patient's default pharmacies from within Rx Manager. Using the drop down menu, select the pharmacy, then click either the (1) (2) or (3) favorite icons to indicate this pharmacy is a 1st, 2nd or 3rd preferred pharmacy for the patient. This setting will be saved to the patient's Demographics chart section.
Rx Manager: Submitting Medications to a Preferred Pharmacy
A pharmacy can be selected for each individual medication prior to submission. When selecting a pharmacy within the medication, the drop down menu will list the patient's 1st, 2nd and 3rd preferred pharmacies at the top of the selection list, as shown in the screenshot above.
2. Rx Form Mapping
SOAPware has added a feature that will automatically map an old version of the Rx form to the new version that is now needed for Surescripts ePrescribing. If there is not a valid mapping, the form of a medication will remain blank and will need to be selected by the user.
