Demographics Changes
The features listed below have been added to meet the Meaningful Use ONC 2014 Edition Test Scripts for 170.314(a)(3) Record Demographics.
All Other Races Removed
As required by Meaningful Use 2014, the option to record a race as "All Other Races" has been removed. If the selection of "All Other Races" was recorded for a patient prior to this updated version, the race portion of the patients Demographics will be set back to be blank and will require that the user select a valid option for race.
Valid options for Meaningful Use 2014 include:
- American Indian or Alaska Native
- Asian
- Black or African American
- Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander
- White
- Declined to Specify
