Added "Bypass Scrub" to On Hold and Pending status in Claims Manager

An option to Bypass Scrubber has been added to the On Hold and Pending sections in the Claims Manager for electronic claims missing a Provider Signature, and Invalid State for Canada and Puerto Rico

An option to Bypass Scrubber has been added to the On Hold and Pending sections in the Claims Manager for electronic claims missing a Provider Signature, and Invalid State for Canada and Puerto Rico

All claims have to be scrubbed the first time to be certain that the only rejections are Invalid State or Missing Provider Signature. These are the only two errors that will bypass the scrubber.

1. Claim should be in Pending Scrub section for initial scrubbing process. Scrub claim. Scrub Error will display with reason for rejection.

2. Click OK. Claim will be moved to On Hold section

3. Click the drop down arrow in the Status column and select Bypass Scrub. The claim will move to the Pending Scrub section.

Claim Status is Bypass Scrub, and Claim Notes show Ready to Scrub on current date.

4. Click Scrub. Claim will move to Ready To Submit section.

Claim is now ready to submit to clearinghouse, and the Claim Notes read Bypassed Scrub on the date it was bypassed.
