Stopping and/or Restarting CloudSync
This lesson will provide instructions on restarting CloudSync.
Stopping the CloudSync Service
1. Log In to Server
Log in to the workstation that contains CloudSync. In most instances, CloudSync should be located on the server workstation.
2. Locate the CloudSync Service
Locate the CloudSync service. In most instances, the CloudSync service will be accessible through the system tray.
3. Stop the CloudSync Service
Right click on the CloudSync icon and select Stop CloudSync.
Select Yes.
Once completed, the system tray will display the message "CloudSync successfully stopped".
*If using the system tray method, steps are complete and CloudSync should be stopped. To re-start the service, follow the instructions under "Starting the CloudSync service".
- If CloudSync is Not Accessible Through the System Tray:
If CloudSync is not accessible through the system tray, follow the steps below to locate the CloudSync Service.
- Click the Start menu.
- In the "Search programs and files" box, type "Services".
- Click on the Services item listed under the Programs header.
Right click on the SOAPware CloudSync item and select Stop.
A progress bar will display to notify you once the process has been competed.
Starting the CloudSync Service
1. Log In to Server

Locate the CloudSync service. In most instances, the CloudSync service will be accessible through the system tray.
3. Start the CloudSync Service
Right click on the CloudSync icon and select Start CloudSync.
Once completed, the system tray will display the message "CloudSync successfully started".
*If using the system tray method, steps are complete and CloudSync should be started.
- If CloudSync is Not Accessible Through the System Tray:
Right click on the SOAPware CloudSync item and select Start.
A progress bar will display to notify you once the process has been competed.
