How do I add a NDC number to a HCPCS code?
Assign NDC number to HCPCS codes
NDC codes can be assigned to selected CPT or HCPCS codes. Assigning NDC codes will automatically populate the Drug Code into the Drug tab whenever the selected codes are charged when creating a visit, eliminating the need to add the code each time.
Select Codes in HCPCS Maintenance
Go to Tools, Billing Maintenance and select HCPCS Maintenance
1. Type CPT or HCPCS code or type description to activate code.
2. Type NDC number into the field.
3. Click Save. Repeat for each code that requires a NDC number when submitting to payers.
4. Code can be viewed in NDC column after saving.
