Recording of Exclusions
The features listed below have been added to meet the Meaningful Use ONC 2014 Edition Test Scripts contained within 170.314(c)(1-3) CQMs Criteria.
Clinical Quality Measures in 2014 will require the provider to document exclusions that are related to the measure. The feature described below will allow exclusions to be documents and tracked for the CQM reports.
New Exclusions Document
Users will have the ability to add in a new Exclusions document. This document can be added as an attachment to an existing document, such as a SOAPnote, by right-clicking on the orange tab, then selecting New > General > Exclusions.
Once the Exclusions document has been added, the user will have the ability to add an item that they wish to document as being "not performed or not given". In addition, the user will select from a pre-defined list to indicate the reason this item was not performed or not given.
The description and reason for the documented exclusion will be displayed and attached within the docutainer.
